DBLO Associates Architects were commissioned to produce design and construction proposals for a new National Counter Terrorism Centre in Asokoro, Abuja. The building provides over 120,000sqft of office, auditorium, meeting rooms and other specialist technical facilities.
Environmental measures were considered to reduce mechanical cooling and power usage by increasing thermal mass at lower levels whilst minimising solar gain at upper levels to keep mechanical services cooling to a minimum.
The project was completed in March 2023 by contractors: DBLO Construction Nigeria Ltd.
